OH MY GO****, &^%%$$#!@$&*(&*^, I just accidentally deleted my JobTracker Database. FU***** thats two weeks of work, and all along i knew i had added it to my daily SQL backup. I figured when i checked my script. It was not there. :/

Good thing though, is i send a daily report every afternoon via Email. But, it will really take time to write all those stuffs again.

Im going to find a way.. :(

MySQL, Insert Select

Been working with a PHP function on how can i duplicate an entry. My first approach was to use the while() function, but what it does was loop the entire process.

I posted at phpugph.com and ask them what they think, and they suggested the INSERT - SELECT of MySQL.

mysql> INSERT INTO jt_entry (uid,entry_requested_by,entry_status,entry_category,entry_title,entry_description)
-> select uid, entry_requested_by, entry_status, entry_category, entry_title, entry_description from jt_entry
-> where entry_id='3' limit 1;
Query OK, 1 row affected (0.00 sec)
Records: 1 Duplicates: 0 Warnings: 0

I was not aware about this, and now i know. :)

rounding fractions on PHP

Part of my study on PHP; I found out that i can easily round fractions up or down, using function ceil and floor. Good thing i was able to read the manual again, hehe.

How i wish i could do this on my stock Clarion Head Unit (HU) (Model: arx3170) on my Mazda Protege 98. I currently dont have a cd player on my HU even a CD Changer, so what im doing right now is i plug in a tape that has a wire going to my CD Player (Portable) and thats how i get my collection of mp3's playing. Im going to try this soon, this is really cool!

Trip to Puerto Galera, YEHEY

Our Barkada trip to Puerto Galera, last April 1 to 3, 2005. We stayed in white beach. Ride time was almost 1 to 2 hours by land from Las Pinas to Batangas Port. Then from Batangas Port we got into a Ferry going to Puerto Galera, White Beach for 1 1/2 hour. The experience was very nice, the place was great. Clean and clear waters, great food. Although we bring in our own food, we just rented a kitchen and cook our own food.
